According to the tradition of the Rule of St. Benedict, the Benedictine monastery "Schottenstift" ("Abbey of Our Beloved Lady of the Scots") also runs a guesthouse.
The BENEDIKTUSHAUS IM SCHOTTENSTIFT is embedded in the large historical buildings complex of the abbey right in the heart of Vienna. The guesthouse was established in 1980 and extensively renovated over the last years.
Our guests value the very quietly situated rooms looking out onto one of the tree-lined courtyards of the monastery. Therefore, and to respect our guests’ wishes, we deliberately decided not to equip any of the rooms with TVs or radios. On each floor there are only a few guestrooms. The spacious and bright corridors are inviting to spend time in.
The third and fourth floor have been completely renovatedand redecorated. Weare pleasedto offer you - besides the standard single and twin rooms - ten even more comfortable, elegantly furnished double bedded and triple rooms.BOOK NOW
